Well, it might have fixed my sleep issue too! So, even at stock (non OC) settings if it won't wake correctly, try bumping those two voltages and see if it helps you.ġ: In BIOS, Advanced > APM Config : set ErP Ready to Enable(S4+S5)Ħ. I read some OC guides for Asus just reviewing all my normal OC settings and someone mentioned increasing those voltages is good for overall stability.
I wanted to go back to my 4.6ghz OC since running at the defaults trying to troubleshoot my issue. I've been able to put the machine to sleep several times the past day and its has awaken correctly. Samsung 950 PRO Series - 512GB PCIe NVMe - M.2Ĩ50W Corsair HX850i PSU (same issue with brand new EVGA SuperNova G2)

I keep hoping a BIOS update will fix this, but I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue! I switched over to the Asus board, because I wanted a more unified setup (I plan getting Strix 1080 Ti) and some RGB lighting.Įverything else except the wake from sleep is working fine. All of these components came directly out of a EVGA Z170 Classified K build that was 100% functioning and had no problem waking from sleep mode. This isn't a component issue like RAM, CPU or SSD.
A couple of times it has worked, but otherwise, you have to hold down the power button and force the system off, then back on I know when it's not going to work, because none of my RGB strips off the motherboard turn on. 99% of the time Machine will go to sleep fine, but when you try to wake it up, you'll hear the fans spin and some of the lights come on, but nothing else. Disabled power management for PCI and USB Disabled sleep mode drives (set 'Turn Off hard disk' to 0) Set System Power Plan Settings to High Performance and back to Balanced

Installed latest drivers for all other components Installed latest Intel drivers / firmware Removed all components except M.2 drive Turned on/off various system extras like RGB, LAN, etc Updated to latest BIOS (same result on previous version) I have this same exact issue!
